Completely vegan and totally sustainable, you're on your way with this super-lightweight knit sneaker. The knit fabric is made from 100% recycled material: 90% of it is made from PET bottles, 10% from SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC - recycled plastic waste from the sea. The SEAQUAL® initiative aims to rid the oceans of plastic and convert the collected material into environmentally friendly polyester fibres (https://www.seaqual.org/). But it's not just the sustainable origin that makes you feel good. This is also ensured by the lightweight, wide-stretch textile knit, which offers plenty of room for wide or problematic feet. The absence of seams means that nothing can pinch, the footbed with ball heel (4 mm padding at the front, 6 mm at the back) makes for a buttery-soft step and the wide-opening 5-hole lacing makes for comfortable entry. Soft tread thanks to soft EVA with non-slip rubber tread. With PITO, you walk vegan into the future.
