This unique slipper is manufactured near Kathmandu, Nepal. The production of Tofvel creates jobs for women in this poor, mountainous country. The employees receive a fair wage, which they can invest in their education and that of their children.
The wool felt is made from 100% Nepalese sheep's wool, without chemicals or synthetic materials. This is done entirely by hand. The wool is first washed and combed. Wool felt is created when two layers of wool are laid at right angles to each other and moistened with hot soapy water (without chemicals). The fibres intertwine through subsequent friction. The process is lengthy and requires a great deal of skill. Only ecological dyes are used to colour the wool.
Each pair of Tofvel is personalised by the maker with an embroidered "signature" and a personal card with a photo and additional information about the product. So you know exactly who made the pair of Tofvel.
In order to enjoy your woollen slippers for as long as possible, it is important to look after them properly. With the right care, the slippers will last for years.

Tofvel - mein Traum-Hausschuh
Mein absoluter Traum-Hausschuh, den ich 365 Tage im Jahr trage. Super bequem, äußerst kuschelig, wärmend im Winter, aber auch super zu tragen im Sommer und außerdem noch schick. Einfach der perfekte Hausschuh.

Mein bester Hausschuh
Passt. Ist warm und weich. Die Sohle aus mit Leder bezogenem Filz bietet ein perfektes Barfußgefühl. Ich brauche allerdings einen Schuhlöffel, wenn ich den Tofvel mit Wollsocken anziehen will. Bauartbedingt!

Rundum zufrieden!
Noch nie konnte ich in Pantoffeln so gut laufen. Bemerkenswert finde ich auch, wie mühelos das An- und Ausziehen geht. Es fühlt sich sehr gut an, wie der Schuh den Fuß umschließt, auch wegen der angenehmen Höhe. Die Pantoffeln sehen sehr gut aus; und die Füße werden schön warm gehalten. Noch nie hatte ich so teure Pantoffeln, aber auch noch nie so gute.

Warm, roomy, handmade in Nepal
These are every bit as good as other felt houseboots I’ve tried and a better fit for my wide feet than some. Very comfortable and warm. The red is a good colour. Was surprised to see they are handmade in Nepal, owing to a label naming the maker. The hope that there’s an enterprise providing much-needed work for women there is a bonyd

Dieser Hausschuh ist wirklich einzigartig. Und 100% Handarbeit ein echt toller Schuh und noch dazu total angenehmes Fußklima und kuschelich warm. Ich kann diesen Haussuch nur weiter empfehlen. Auch Bär Straßenschuhe sind eine wohltat für die Füße.

es ist nicht mein erster und nicht mein letzter Schuh von BÄR. Warm, bequem, stabil, und die Farbe rot ist super - mit Sohle, damit kann man auch Holztreppen sicher laufen!
