How do I place an order in the online store?

Browse our online store, add your favorite items to the shopping cart and follow the steps at checkout to complete your purchase.

Do I need an account to order from BÄR?

During the ordering process, you have the option of ordering via your customer account, setting up a customer account or placing your order as a guest. If you order as a guest, you do not need a customer account to place your order.

How do I get the BÄR catalog?

BÄR product variety to browse through: Order our current shoe catalog with the new BÄR collection free of charge directly to your home and browse through our extensive product range at your leisure. We need your name, address and e-mail address for this. The catalog will be sent to you regularly.

Will I be informed about the progress of my order?

Order and shipping confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation after you have placed your order. With the shipping confirmation, we confirm that your goods have been dispatched and will arrive within the next few days.

Product inquiries
As a customer, you also have the option of contacting the seller by telephone, e-mail, fax or letter to enquire about a specific item. After receiving such a request, the seller submits a corresponding offer to the customer by e-mail, letter or fax.

When can I expect my shoes to arrive?

The BÄR team processes all orders as quickly as possible. We ship our goods from our warehouse in Bietigheim-Bissingen or directly from the stores. For shipments within Germany, you should allow up to five days for delivery. For deliveries from our stores, you should allow up to one week for delivery.

Which countries does BÄR ship to?

BÄR ships the goods internationally. When placing your order, please make sure that you are in the correct version of the online store. Delivery is always made from the warehouse in Germany.

What are the shipping costs?

BÄR ships with DHL. With shipping to all countries, we are also pleased to be able to supply you outside the EU. For international orders, we also ship the goods from Germany. You can find the international shipping costs for shipping to all countries here: International shipping costs

orders outside the EU you have to bear the costs for customs and, if applicable, taxes or handling fees of the respective country. Please check the local regulations of your country.

Who is responsible for the shipping costs?

We make no compromises when it comes to packaging and shipping. We therefore ship all orders via DHL. This incurs costs of EUR 5.90 within Germany. The 5.90 EUR are to be paid by the customer and are automatically added to the shopping cart - regardless of the order value. Payment & promotions

Which payment options can I use?

We offer you the following options as part of our payment guarantee:

Credit card
Simply enter your credit card number, expiry date and verification number in the fields provided. You can use Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. Your credit card will be charged upon conclusion of the contract.

Purchase on account
From the 2nd order onwards, we offer purchase on account. You will receive an invoice with your order. The invoice is due for payment within 14 days of receipt.

PayPal
After selecting this option, you will be redirected to the PayPal login and can make your payment there. You will then automatically be returned to the BÄR website, where

we reserve the right to reject individual payment methods. All information about the payment options can be found in our General Terms and Conditions.

Klarna | Invoice (Pay later)
You have the option of leaving a review for your favourite product. To do this, call up your product under the respective product name in the online shop at www.baer-schuhe.de and scroll down to the product description. Next to the "Description" tab, you will find an extra tab with "Ratings". By logging into your customer account, you have the option of rating your product and assigning a number of stars.

How do I find out about current promotions?

Get a BÄR voucher worth € 30,-* and surprise your referred friend with a welcome voucher worth € 30,-*. Call up the new customer order card on this page and fill in the left-hand side "I am already a BÄR customer" with your personal details so that we can send you the € 30,- voucher. On the right-hand side, "I am a new BÄR customer", we need your friend's personal details and payment method. Your referred friend will receive a discount of € 30,- on orders of € 100,- or more, which will be deducted before the amount is debited. How do I enter a voucher code?

After you have placed your desired product in the shopping basket, a window will appear on the right-hand side of your screen where you can redeem your voucher code. This process also works on your shopping basket page. Once you have entered the voucher code correctly, the discount will be deducted from your shopping basket value.

After you have placed your desired product in the shopping basket, a window will appear on the right-hand side of your screen where you can redeem your voucher code. I would like to return an order. What do I have to do?

We also make returns as easy as possible for you. Simply fill in the returns form enclosed with your order. Returns are free of charge within Germany. Stick the enclosed returns label on the well-sealed parcel and hand it in at the post office.

How is the refund processed?

For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.

How can I cancel my purchase?

Sustainability

Is BÄR helping to protect the environment?

In India as well as in Germany, we generate more than 60% of our own energy requirements from renewable sources. Furthermore, our factory in Ambur (India) is equipped with its own wastewater treatment plant for process water, which reduces water consumption to a minimum.

In 2020, we were also able to save 81.78 tons of CO2 - the equivalent of driving a mid-range petrol car for around 400,000 km. You could drive around the world about 10 times with that.

How is the order packed?

A recycled shipping box not only protects the shoe box during shipping, but also makes it easier for you to open thanks to the tear strips. The shipping box is also recyclable. You can use the same box for your returns if necessary.

paper tapeensures security and sufficient adhesive surface that adheres well to the box. Equipped with a triple thread reinforcement, it holds the shipping cartons securely and firmly together.

Slippers and shoe care products are available in recyclable "WaveWrap® packaging". Plastic bubble envelopes have been replaced by an environmentally friendly and innovative shipping bag. Thanks to the natural rubber coating on one side, the contents of the envelope cannot slip and are not damaged during shipping to your home.

The BÄR shoes are now packed in recycled tissue paper wrapped in a shoe box. This prevents the shoes from rubbing against each other, protects them during transportation to your home and gives the entire packaging an elegant look.

The shipping box is filled with recycled paper. This is certified with the "Blue Angel" and is individually adapted to the size of your order. We take great care to use only as much filling paper as necessary. The filling paper can be reused for other purposes or simply disposed of in the paper waste.

What can I do to protect the environment?

With the BÄR fit advice, the product images and the fitting tips, we hope to be able to support you in your decision to keep selection shipments and returns to a minimum. After all, every additional parcel that is sent takes up space in the delivery vehicle and on the road and has a negative impact on the environment. Help us to keep this as low as possible!
