Care Instructions
Nubuck leather combines sustainability with robustness - with the right care, it remains water-repellent, supple and durable. This is how it works:
- First remove loose dirt and dust with a soft brush or a lint-free cloth. Use the cleanerto gently remove localised dirt.
- Apply the Deep Conditioner 220 ml evenly onto the clean and dry leather. Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently massage the conditioner into the leather. This conditioner nourishes the leather, maintains its suppleness and enhances its water-repellent properties.
- Finally, protect the leather with the waterproofing spray Carbon Pro (400 ml). Spray the spray evenly onto the surface from a distance of 20-30 cm.

The new HikeTec sole with intelligent braking and claw profile, developed in collaboration with Vibram, ensures a secure grip - both uphill and downhill. The hard-wearing, water-repellent terracare® cowhide nubuck leather can withstand any weather conditions and is manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. Broken after 2000 kms of light hiking
I walked 2000 kms of few caminos de Santiago in Spain after having them for 1 month or so. Both shoes broke on the same place. The right was worst. On the front, were the shoes flexes at every step. I can put a finger through. Otherwise I’ll buy them again.

Nach einem Jahr Tragezeit Qualitätsmängel
Ich habe diese Schuhe jetzt über ein Jahr regelmässig getragen, der Laufkomfort ist gut. Leider sind bei beiden Schuhen die Schnürsenkel gerissen, schlechte Qualität, die Sohlen haben sich im vorderen Bereich nicht abgelaufen, hier ist die Qualität gut was man leider vom hinteren Bereich nicht sagen kann, hier sind bereits starke Abnutzungsspuren zu erkennen, der Grip ist nicht mehr vorhanden , im vorderen Bereich ist der Grip noch vollkommen erhalten. Diese Mängel dürfen bei einem Schuh in dieser Preisklasse nach einem Jahr nicht auftreten.

Nicht uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert
Ich habe diesen Wanderschuh gewählt, um für mäßig anspruchsvolle also eher leichte Wanderungen einen soliden Schuh zu haben. Mit der Idee der großen Zehenbox gehe ich gern mit. Auch bin ich mit der Griffigkeit der Sohle/ des Profils und der Robustheit das Schuhs durchaus sehr zufrieden. Abstriche aus der Wandererfahrung (20km Tongariro Crossing, NZ) mache für den Sitz der Schuhe (Abschluss im Außenknöchelbereich - Schmerzen) sowie im Fersenbereich die mangelnde Polsterung. Hierzu würde ich gern ein Statement des Designers hören, weshalb hier diese minimalisiert wurde. Immerhin ist dieser Schuh kein Billigmodell. Mag es an meiner Anatomie gelegen haben, jedenfalls kam es nach wenigen Kilometern bergauf zur Blasenbildung im Fersenbereich, was das Erlebnis der Wanderung doch deutlich trübte. Deshalb sollte man beim Kauf hier so gut es geht prüfen. Ich habe diese Schuhe in einer Filiale und nicht online gekauft und konnte sie dort länger tragen. Trotzdem ärgerlich. Mit anderen Schuhen wie dem Addict bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Buty są super i kupiłbym je po raz kolejny. Jednak mam parę osobistych uwag i spostrzeżeń. Otóż uważam, że język buta powinien mieć możliwość złapania przez sznurówkę przez co by był cały czas w jednym miejscu. Nie przemieszcza się w trakcie chodzenia, ale przy ich zakładaniu tak. Dodatkowo wolałbym żeby kolorystycznie były jednolite i żeby nie było żółtego koloru. Prostota pod tym względem sprawiłaby że chodziłbym w nich też po mieście na codzień.

Einfach Großartig!
Jetzt mit 63 habe ich erst die ultimativen Wanderschuhe gefunden. Da passt einfach alles. Ich gehe damit täglich 2-3mal mit den Hunden raus. Egal wie das Wetter ist, ob starker regen oder so wie jetzt viel Schnee liegt. Die schuhe sind immer komplett dicht und wasserfest. Die Kombination Goretex mit Vibran Sohle ist ebenfalls perfekt. Ich hab einen sehr breiten Rist, auch da passen die Schuhe wunderbar.

toller Schuh
Stabiler, sauber gearbeiteter Schuh mit griffiger Sohle zum Wandern sowie für den Alltag. Für breite Füße ideal. Nach ca. 8 Wochen täglichen Tragens keinerlei Abnutzung bzw. Schäden zu erkennen.

Rutschen war gestern
Gestern die Schuhe ausprobiert und gleich das Gefühl gehabt, mal wieder die richtigen Schuhe genommen zu haben für meine Problemfüße ( sehr breit, hoher Spann, linker Fuß fast einen Nummer kürzer als der rechte ). Wir kraxelten auf 300m Höhenunterschied über rutschigen Terrain und stiegen danach fast die ganze Strecke ab über einen total ausgwaschenen Weg , der mehr Bachbett als Weg war - ein Gefühl der Sicherheit , da die Sohlen wirklich einen ausgezeichnete Traktion haben. Wer Probleme mit den Füßen und generell mit der Trittsicherheit hat, wird hier den richtigen Schuh finden.
