Size advice: Your path to toe freedom!

Are you ready for a little test? Then try moving your toes for a moment. Does this feeling remind you of sardines in a tin? Then don't wear a BÄR shoe with uncompromising toe freedom.

Nothing is more harmful and uncomfortable than a shoe that pinches or doesn't fit well. It's a good thing that we can also offer you detailed advice on shoe sizes online. Based on a comprehensive foot type determination, we provide important fitting tips and clarify all your open questions directly on the service telephone.

TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOU, SIMPLY USE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING THREE OPTIONS

Stand in stockings with both feet on a sheet of paper.

Tracethe outline of your feet vertically with a pencil .

Measure the length on the drawing , from the largest toe to the heel. Compare which foot is slightly larger, as the larger foot is decisive for the correct shoe size. Then compare the measured length with the adjacent table.

BÄR Natural
Wide fit - for normal to wide feet

Natural is suitable for normal to wide feet and has enough room for the toes. It has a slightly flatter cut in the forefoot area than the Comfort version.

BÄR Comfort
Wide fit with more volume - for wide to strong feet

Comfort offers normal to larger feet a little more space and ensures comfortable freedom of movement.

BÄR Comfort Plus
Extra wide fit - for very strong feet

Maximum freedom for wide and very strong feet: more height, more width, no pressure points. Ideal if your foot simply needs more room without being constricted.

3. an important tip from Hilke Bär

"It's best to try on new shoes in the evening. This is because your feet expand by a few millimetres during the day. Always put on both shoes at the same time and walk in them for a while: Only by standing and walking can you properly test the fit of your new BÄR shoes.

Seen from above, the original BÄR shoes may seem a little wider when you first try them on. But who looks at your shoes from above? Thanks to the well thought-out and artful cut, your shoes will look stylish, slim and attractive from the side and from the front. Just like everyone sees them."

Does my shoe fit?

It goes without saying that our Original BÄR shoes are slightly wider at the front than some other shoes. And for good reason: this is the only way they can offer you the uncompromising toe freedom typical of BÄR.

Always try on both shoes! Feet are never twins and can differ in length and width by a few millimeters. When you try on both shoes, stand up and walk a few laps to find out how you feel about wearing them.

BÄR wearing comfort

When trying on their BÄR shoes for the first time, some customers feel that the new shoes are too big. But take your time when testing them: after the tightness of conventional shoes, your feet first have to get used to the fact that they now have more space! Just follow our two steps to find the perfect BÄR fit. If you have a good heel fit, a comfortable hold over the instep and a little finger's width of space in front of your toes so that you don't slip back and forth in the shoe, then everything is fine.

How to measure your foot

Stand on a sheet of paper

Wear thin socks and place both feet firmly on the paper.

Outline the contour of your foot

Hold the pencil upright and draw vertically around each foot.

Measure the foot length

Measure from the end of your longest toe to the back of the heel on each drawing.

Try on your new shoes in the evening - your feet will expand by a few millimeters during the day. Make sure you put on both shoes and walk a little. Only by standing and moving around can you really feel whether the fit is right.

At first glance, BÄR shoes may appear slightly wider from the top. But remember: nobody can see your shoes from this angle. Thanks to our well thought-out, sophisticated design, they appear slim, stylish and elegant from the front and the side - just the way others see them.
