Fitting

Assessing Size and Fit Accurately

Some customers who are not yet accustomed to toe freedom may feel that their BÄR shoes are too large during the first fitting. Therefore, allow yourself time during testing: after the tightness of conventional shoes, your feet need to readjust to their natural and healthy shape. Simply follow our three steps to determine the perfect BÄR fit.

1. Test in the evening: your foot can be up to half a size larger in the evening.

2. Always try on both shoes, slide the foot back, and tighten.

3. If you do not slip forward and backward in the shoe, have good heel fit, comfortable support over the instep, and a small finger's width of space in front of the toes, everything is fine.

Are you still unsure whether your new BÄR shoes fit perfectly? Do not plan an exchange immediately; instead, give us a call. We are happy to advise you.

Please note the following before trying on: only try your new BÄR shoes on carpet to avoid scratches or signs of wear. Also, please note that the shoe box is part of the product and must be in its original condition. In case of return, all products must be in an unworn or perfect condition, as well as in the original packaging materials. Only then can we accept a return.

Care

What is well cared for brings long-lasting joy

  • It is best to wear your shoes for only one day and then let them air out or dry for two days
  • Use a shoehorn, which protects the heel area of the shoes when putting them on
  • Use shoe trees, they keep shoes in shape for much longer, prevent creases and absorb moisture
  • Allow wet shoes to dry slowly. Leather dries quickly on the heater, with a fan or in the sun
  • Regularly treat shoes with appropriate shoe care and be sure to clean them beforehand
